Have you ever wanted to be a part of a flash mob? Y‘know..where people just pretend they’re milling around and shopping and suddenly everyone starts doing the same thing (like dancing) and all the passersby pull out their cell phones to record something that “you just had to see!”?
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!
The global West Coast Swing community has begun to hold an annual “international flashmob” that all the cool Westies take part in!
London, Ontario has taken part for the last 2 years and is going to be a part of it again this year; and you’re invited!
Learning the Steps:
We will hold a 6 week course to learn the flash mob choreography. If it looks like fun to you and you have not danced before, don’t worry, we will break down the steps into a very easy to learn sequence. This is not about being a great dancer, it’s about having a great time and meeting new people and doing something totally cool while representing London, ON!

Here’s some videos of us performing previous year’s flashmob as a little incentive:
Here is the official compilation videos from the last 3 years. In the 2017 video, we are at the 8:30 mark. In the 2016 video, we are at the 8:08 mark. We don’t appear in the 2015 video even though we submitted our video, likely because they thought we were another London, England.
